Roman J. Ma is the Founder and General Partner of Ceras Ventures, bringing over seven years of experience across Asia, North America, and the Middle East in blockchain, digital assets, and emerging technologies. He has co-founded and led multiple ventures with a cumulative fund management track record approaching
$100 million.
Prior to establishing Ceras Ventures, Roman played a founding role in a regulated centralized exchange that scaled to a $200 million Series A valuation. His investment and advisory work spans early-stage AI, blockchain, and crypto infrastructure companies, with a focus on supporting founders through product development, commercialization, and scale.

Sarah Abuagela is Partner & Head of Investment at Ceras Ventures, leading a global Web3 portfolio of 70+ high-growth startups. With an educational background in Finance and Emerging Technologies such as Fintech, Blockchain and Quantum Technology, she focuses on digital asset adoption, tokenization, and emerging market innovation.
Named among the Top 100 Most Powerful Women in the Middle East, Sarah speaks globally on Web3 investment trends and mentors founders through programs like Brinc, Sui, and the Algorand Foundation. She also works with universities, ministries and corporates to advance digital asset and AI education across emerging markets.
